For teams

Ways to work with your leadership team.

The core of the practice is systemic team coaching over several months. Alignment intensives, retreats and The Five Behaviors® fit specific situations, on their own or as a first step. Every engagement starts with a conversation with the team leader or sponsor.

What the work is designed to change

What should be different after the work?

In the teamIn the business
Leaders resolve cross-functional disagreements directly.Fewer decisions escalated upward.
The team is clear on who owns each decision.Less rework, and fewer decisions reopened after the meeting.
Difficult issues come up earlier.Problems addressed before they become crises.
Commitments are explicit.Better follow-through on what the team agreed.
Disagreement happens in the room, before the decision is made.Less time spent managing internal friction, and more leadership capacity for strategic priorities.

These are the changes the work aims for. Each engagement agrees its own success measures with the team leader and sponsor at the start.

An intensive or a retreat can stand on its own or open a longer team coaching engagement. The Five Behaviors® can be used alongside any of them.
